The Joys of Youth!

Coming in as Freshman, I'm sure many of us had no idea on how the next four years would shape and mold our lives in so many different ways. We all formed new bonds, new friendships, with people from all of the different local schools, we were now joined together as a "singular," class.

It was an exhilarating time for sure, and we all had a "thirst," each day, to see what was on the current horizon. Many of us experienced our "high school days," through sports, some through theater and music, and others simply through their academic experiences.

MSJ provided us with a lot of opportunities. It seems we all enjoyed and participated in some way, of all the sports activities, the games, the bus rides to away games, the minstrel each spring, the parties at "Kings," the Quarterline Road, Tamarack Notch, "CCC" Camp, and many other "hot partying spots!" Lots of parties! * Note: MSJ didn't provide these particular "party," opportunities, but we did!

Yes, there we were, young curious teenagers, enjoying the moments, experimenting with the fleeting Joys of Youth.  And now, all those memories seem so far away, & yet still so close in our own special moments. What great fortune, that we could all take part in that experiential wild ride at the Mount . . .  It sure was FUN!
